Fourth grade is working hard learning about place value, stages of matter,  types and uses of maps, story and writing elements, and the circulatory system.

Content/goals: Throughout the year, 4th graders will learn about the fifty states and capitals with a focus on Connecticut at the end of the year. Students will build a simple machine, demonstrate an erupting volcano, set individual reading goals, participate in class blog, and have opportunities to participate in an after school math club.

Students will also learn the importance of writing in various forms and create a book of poetry.
